An Weihnachten wurde er 70 Jahre alt und erfuhr am 26.12., dass er an einer besonderes aggressiven Art von Krebs erkrankt ist. Zwei Tage später ist Mr. Motörhead tot.

Seine Band hat euch auf Facebook aufgefordert dieses Ereignis wie folgt zu zelebrieren:
