Die brasilianischen Black Metaller PATRIA haben einen Vertrag mit Soulseller Records unterzeichnet.Das neue Album "Magna Adversia" erscheint Anfang 2017 und bietet einen Mix aus südamerikanischem Metal-Wahnsinn und dem klassisch düsteren, skandinavischen Stil. Als Co-Produzent konnte die Band Øystein G. Brun (Borknagar) gewinnen, als Gäste sind Asgeir Mickelson (Ihsahn, Sarke, Borknagar, Spiral Architect…) an den Drums sowie Fabiano Penna (Rebaelliun) vertreten.
Das Cover-Artwork wurde von PATRIAs Gitarrist Mantus kreiert - in der Szene auch bekannt als Marcelo Vasco, der bereits für Bands wie Slayer, Kreator, Machine Head, Soulfly, Dark Funeral oder Hatebreed gearbeitet hat.
