Das Schweizer Black-Metal-Duo ERNTE hat die Veröffentlichung seines kommenden Albums „Weltenzerstörer“ sowie die Veröffentlichung eines Videos zu ihrer ersten Single „Ruler of Chaos, Bringer of Storm“ angekündigt. Das Album soll am 7. Juni über Vendetta Records erscheinen.

Nach den beiden Vorgängeralben der Band („Geist und Hexerei“ / „Albsegen“) stellt „Weltenzerstörer“ eine Weiterentwicklung des früheren Schaffens von ERNTE dar, betont dessen melodische und atmosphärische Elemente und bleibt dabei seinen Black-Metal-Ursprüngen treu.

ERNTE about the upcoming album, its aesthetics and meaning:
"The cover was created by a graphic designer we came across on social media. His image immediately appealed to us and, in our eyes, fits the album title perfectly: Next to the sea monster, the 'world destroyer', the few humans seem tiny and almost disappear. This world destroyer is also conjured up in a satanic ritual in the form of Leviathan in our first single/video 'Ruler of Chaos, Bringer of Storm', for example.

But Weltenzerstörer ('world destroyer') doesn't just mean the destruction of our earth - the plural 'worlds' is a deliberate choice. The world of sick thoughts. The world of false feelings. The world of consumption, or the world of manipulation. The world of religions, which we all deeply despise.

Weltenzerstörer is not a concept album, yet it can be said in general that the lyrics on the album embody a misanthropic attitude. It is about consciously chosen loneliness and the search for a higher meaning. But it is also an invocation of ancient powers and spirits in order to create new ones with the destruction of today's sick world(s) and to give nature more space again."

Die dänischen Death Metal Schwergewichter von ILLDISPOSED haben für den 28. Juni ihr brandneues Album, "In Chambers Of Sonic Disgust", über Massacre Records angekündigt!

Es ist ihr erstes neues Album seit 2019. Zweifelsohne ungewöhnlich, dass zwischen den Alben der Band eine solche Lücke entstanden ist, aber diverse Ereignisse haben dazu beigetragen. Zuerst hatte die COVID-19-Pandemie erhebliche Auswirkungen auf die Musikindustrie und zwang die Band, sich für eine Weile auf andere Dinge zu konzentrieren. Dann wurde beim Gitarristen Rasmus Henriksen ein Hirntumor diagnostiziert. Rasmus hat die Band inzwischen verlassen, um sich zu 100% auf die Behandlung zu konzentrieren. In seine Fußstapfen ist ILLDISPOSEDs ehemaliger Gitarrist Ken Holst getreten. Nun melden sich ILLDISPOSED also endlich zurück, um der Welt zu zeigen, wie diese von Krisen und Anstrengungen gezeichneten Jahre in Musik umgewandelt wurden. "In Chambers Of Sonic Disgust" ist voller Wut und Frustration und das ehrgeizigste und kreativste ILLDISPOSED-Album aller Zeiten!

"Neseblod Records" sagt vielleicht nicht jedem was, aber unter seinem ehemaligen Namen „Helvete“ sollte dieser Plattenladen doch jedem ein Begriff sein. Wenn nicht, dann bitte nachsitzen....

Leider ist der Osloer Plattenladen nun abgebrannt. Er wurde bis 1993 unter dem Namen „Helvete“ von Euronymous geführt, die Location wurde 2013 gekauft und als Neseblod Records neu eröffnet. Neben dem Plattenladen diente der Shop auch als Black Metal Mekka. Die heilige Wandbeschriftung blieb laut Miteigentümerin Grete Neseblod via Instagram unbeschadet.

Es wurde eine Spendenkampagne gestartet um den Wiederaufbau zu unterstützen.

Auf dem Debutalbum spielt King (natürlich) Gitarre, Drummer ist Paul Bostaph (Slayer), Bassist ist Kyle Sanders (Hellyeah) sowie Phil Demmel (Ex-Machine Head) an der zweiten Gitarre. Am Gesang ist niemand anderes als Mark Osegueda von Death Angel.
Die Scheibe wurde mit Produzent Josh Wilbur (Korn, Lamb of God, Avenged Sevenfold, Bad Religion) in den Henson Studios in Los Angeles aufgenommen.

» Das größte Plus der neuen Platte ist aber der verdammt starke Sound, so hammermäßig gut klang die Tennessee Combo noch nicht, kein hohes Geklöppel bei der Snare, kein dünnes Getackere bei den Kicks, nein sondern, fett, FETT, FETT wird hier geliefert, cooler Gitarrensound obendrauf und alles selbst produziert von Mike Bailey. Textlich ist man sich auch treu geblieben und findet nach wie vor genug Inspiration in den Geschichten aus dem "dunkelsten Zeitalter", welches sich ebenfalls in der Covergestaltung wiederspiegelt, dabei handelt sich im Original um ein Kunstwerk von José de Brito.

Alkhemia will captivate fans of Mgla, Groza, or Naglfar, merging heavy blast beats with infuriated, melodic, and harrowing guitar riffs.

Alkhemia is a French Black Metal entity crafted in Lille by James Spar, enriched with the prowess of "Le Prince" (En Finir) - Guitars, A.S.A (Azziard, Redsphere, ex The Negation...) - Bass, Marbas (Malcuidant, Nirnaeth, Lord Ketil...) - Guitars and Alex Josien - Drums.

The band's inaugural album “ABRAXAS”, recorded at the renowned Nebiros Studio and mastered at Studio La Crypte by Clément Flandrois,that will be released in March 2023 on Malpermesita Records, echoes with the oppressive modernity. It intertwines the theory of the two wolves and George Orwell's '1984'. “ABRAXAS”' addresses the contemporary vision of man and the most sinister industrialization.

» CHRIST DENIED, Spain's esteemed Brutal Death Metal ensemble, commemorates its 30th anniversary with their third studio album, "Christopsy". This pivotal release marks the band's inaugural venture with a live drummer, intensifying their renowned brutality. Originating in early 1994, co-founded by Dave Rotten of AVULSED fame and David Nigger, formerly of INTOXICATION, the band quickly made a mark with their debut demo "Thy Horned God." Following a string of impactful releases and a period of dormancy, the band rejuvenated with Roger B. from INFECTED FLESH replacing David Nigger, culminating in the 2013 release of "Cancer Eradication." Having graced stages in Spain, the Czech Republic, and Germany, the band, with Fabio Grinder on drums, embarked on recording "Christopsy" between 2021 and 2023. This album, adorned with art by Daemorph Art, pays homage to CRYPTOPSY, reflecting a significant influence on the band from the outset.«
