Spinefarm Records haben Wolfheart kürzlich unter Vertrag genommen. Das Debütalbum wurde Ende Januar re-released nachdem es Ende 2013 nur über den Eigenvertrieb verbreitet wurde.
Ende 2015 dürfen wir dann ein neues Album erwarten.

Hinter Wolfheart steht ein Name - Tuomas Saukkonen!

Einige werden den Komponisten und Multiinstrumentalisten von seinen Vorgängerbands Before The Dawn, Dawn Of Solace, Black Sun Aeon oder Routasielu kennen. Mit Wolfheart kann er sein musikalisches Genie nun voll ausleben und das klingt sehr vielschichtig, ohne jemals nur einen Hauch kitschig zu sein. Mal melancholisch und hoffnungsvoll, akustisch und zerbrechlich, rau wie Black/Death Metal oder wie atmosphärischer Doom.

"After all the blood, sweat and tears poured into the self-released/self-financed debut Winterborn, it is truly amazing to have a worldwide release for the album and I could not think of a better label for the job than renowned Spinefarm," sagt Tuomas. "It's super exciting times, since, while counting days for the re-release of Winterborn, the second Wolfheart album Shadow World is almost ready and 2015 will be a year of two albums out."
