 Die schwedische Death Metal Band DERANGED sind zu Agonia Records gewechselt und planen ein neues Album. Der Nachfolger zu "Cut Carve Rip Serve" (2011) soll noch diesen Winter erscheinen.
DERANGED wurden 1991 in Südschweden gegründet, Inspiration waren dabei Carcass, Napalm Death, Impetigo oder Suffocation. 2007 bis 2009 kam es zu einer kleinen Pause. DERANGED werden von Schlagzeuger Rikard Wermén angeführt, dem einzig noch verbliebenen Mitglied der originalen Besetzung von 1991.
Rikard meint zum neuen Vertrag: "DERANGED signs with AGONIA! It is an honour to announce that we have signed a deal with Polish extreme metal label Agonia Records. We will enter Berno Studio in the summer to record DERANGED's 9th full-length album, and our first since 2011! It will be the HEAVIEST Deranged release so far! More info as we go along, but expect a winter 2016/2017 release. KILL!".
