Nach einer kurzen Ruhephase haben Elcrost ihre nächste Veröffentlichung angekündigt: Am 03.09.2021 soll die Splitplatte mit dem australischen Post Black Metal Projekt Vixenta erscheinen.

"Vixenta/Elcrost split consisted of 4 tracks, with each band contributing 2. On Elcrost side, our sound is a continuation of the signature heavy aggressive riffing while still retaining a rich melodicism. It paints a picture of a macabre dreamy fable world, inspired by gothic, melodic black metal and progressive rock and the imagery coming from illustrator Ivan Bilibin and poet Arthur Rimbaud. On Vixenta side, they continue to experiment with the combination of black metal, shogaze and post rock, immediately where they left off with the newest album Polarity. Meanwhile, Vixenta still retain a harsh, freezing, and desolated feelings in their black metal adventure."
