Aus dem schwedischen Blekinge, direkt von der gefrorenen Küste der baltischen See, stammen die drei Kriegsherren von ISTAPP. Mordechai von Renvaktar, C. Ashuck von Renvaktar und Fjalar haben sich zum Ziel gesetzt, die Sonne und alle ihre Anhänger zu vernichten.

Blekinge entstammt dem Adjektiv bleke und ist der nautische Begriff für Totenstille - ISTAPPs anstehendes Debütalbum für Metal Blade ist aber alles andere als das!

"We are confident that the piece of deadly art about to strike down on you all will be the first really true metal-album ever to be released to this world" kommentiert die Band ihr anstehendes Album Blekinge, ein düsteres und rasendes, aber auch melodisches Stück Black Metal.

Das Coverartwork wurde von niemand geringerem als C. Ashuck von Renvaktar selbst angefertigt.
