Musik - Hardcorer MADBALL im Studio für achtes Album
Die New York Hardcore-Legenden MADBALL haben sich ins Studio begeben, um an ihrem achten Album zu arbeiten; dem ersten seit »Empire« (2010). Gemeinsam mit dem talentierten UNEARTH-Gitarristen Ken Susi werd die Basic Tracks im System Recordings in Grafton, Massachusetts aufgenommen; weitere Aufnahmen werden mit Jonathan Nuñez in den Pinecrust Studios in Miami, Florida stattfinden. Den Mix wird die Band dem bekannten Produzenten/Mixer Chris „Zeuss“ Harris (HATEBREED, SOULFLY, AGNOSTIC FRONT), der bereits für »Legacy« (2005) und »Infiltrate The System« (2007) verantwortlich zeichnete, anvertrauen. Das noch unbetitelte neue Album wird einige Special Guests featuren und soll im Sommer dieses Jahres erscheinen. Die Band kommentiert: „We are currently in the studio... about to wrap up our new record next week...we are feeling very excited and enthusiastic about the material and hope those that eventually hear it will feel the same! It has all the elements you'd want to hear from us of course. But, it also has some "newer" elements that actually have more of a "throw-back" vibe, if that makes sense.
