"This is probably the darkest and most brutal album we've ever made! It's also the most honest work ever from my perspective" sagt CREST OF DARKNESS Gründer Ingar Amlien über "The God of Flesh", das neunte Album der norwegischen Black Metaller. Dieses erscheint am 25.10.2019 bei My Kingdom Music. Aufnahmen und Mix wurden im MLP Studio zusammen mit Nils H. Mæhlum übernommen, die Gitarren allerdings wurden zusammen mit Rebo im Attic 43 aufgezeichnet. "The God of Flesh" wurde schlussendlich von Crest of Darkness produziert und im Kvålsonic Lab mit Tom Kvålsvoll aufgenommen.

"During the whole production of the album I was thinking that now, more than ever before, I wanted to make an album my way!
